What’s your business, and who are your customers?

Antise Vancouver is a local bakery specializing in the crafting of artisanal panettone. It is a classic Italian sweet bread that lately is becoming really popular all around the world and is one of the most challenging sweet bread to make because of the number of variations due to the use of Natural Yeast (LIEVITO MADRE) that at the same time give to the product the characteristics flavor nuances and texture. Our panettone expresses my way of seeing life as the result of a long selection of things that really matter.

Tell us about yourself

I started Antise Vancouver in 2016; since then, we have walked different paths, but all of them were going in the same direction to give our customers something unique.

What’s your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is the fact that we create a new tradition, and Antise’s Panettone is finally seen as the gift that people want to give to their beloved or closest persons. This year people from Italy, or other parts of Canada, from the States, were ordering our Panettone for their loved ones living in Vancouver and elsewhere in Canada; this is super rewarding!!

What’s one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Keep going no matter how you feel!

What are the top tips you’d give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Be aware that is going to be, though.
Gather advice around but always make your own choices.
Specialize in a few unique things and make them the best.
